WHAT UUUUUP?!? I haven't played in Pennsylvania in over 3 years and decided to do some "home town" shows. Shows are as follows:

07-16-08 @ The Hitching Post in Altoona/w Redawg
07-17-08 @ Magoo's in Cresson/w Redawg
07-18-08 @ Ole Gray Mare in Carrolltown/w Redawg
07-19-08 @ The Castle Pub in Ebensburg/w Redawg
07-20-08 @ Ashville VFW/w Kenny Karlheim

Can't wait to see everyone. It's been too long.

Greetings everyone. My last post on here was actually Bil Krauss testing the blog. Since he posted it, I'm going to leave it there. ;) Any ways, I can not thank you all for the support you've given me over the past 3 years. It has really been a blessing. I'd also like to thank my co workers for being such an awesome crew. Take care of them always for they do their best to take care of you.

May 18th marks my 4th anniversary with being a Jager sponsored band. Adam and the crew are the coolest guys to work with. The Jager stage also visited Key West and I got a grand tour of the mobile stage!! If you get the chance, see it. The stage has the best live sound I've heard with top notch lighting and a generator to power everything.

I actually got away from writing here simply because of how time consuming myspace is. If you'd like to check it out, go to www.myspace.com/johnsolinski and send me a friend request.

Between that, I've been trying to find some time to work on an original CD and release it by the end of the year. A great friend and I have been throwing ideas back and forth to make it something great. And that's no bulls**t right there.

Expect soon some upgrades, songs, and surprises at the shows. Until then, message me or just stop in to say hi.

John

Connie came..Connie drank..Connie danced..Connie got sh**faced!! Another priceless moment. I've never seen another person with as much energy as her! Lova ya. Always a pleasure to see Freda, Dave, and Norm, but where was Sue?!? We'll have to send out a search and rescue for her. ;) The That's No Bullsh**T VIP passes are now made up and we're starting to hand them out at shows. If you don't know what one is, guess you gotta get one, and find out. Cheers.

For the frequent fliers that usually check out the picture page; just wanted to let you know that as soon as I get a flash for my camera, I'll continue posting pictures again. Hope everyone had a great Easter. This year was definitely memorable and ya had to be there to see it. Every Friday from 5 to 7, tune in to Island 107 (www.island107.com) for an on-air happy hour or just stop in to say hey. We'll be there hanging out with Trice. Lastly, I wanted to thank Peter from the Lazy Gecko for inviting us to play happy hour this past Friday. It was the first gig played outside of Irish Kevin's since I moved here and had a great time.

What an incredible St. Patty's Day!!!! If you weren't there, you should've been. The entire audience was there on one mission (DRINK) and accomplished that. This year TOPPED last year. It's always awesome to meet people that have come back for more of a good time. To me that means, "You needed time off to get away, have a great time, and enjoy life for a little bit." It's been a blessing to play with my brother, Redawg, again. His playing and the Zendrum itself adds so much energy to every show. I also wanted to give a shout out to the ENTIRE bar and wait staff , as well as the barbacks, for always doing their best to keep up with what this bar is about...Keeping people happy and replenished with drinks. Amy, Chris, Ginger, David, Heath, Jenny, Jason, Jamie, the 2000 Ashley's and the rest of the crew. A very special shout goes to the great security staff we have. They go out of their way to make sure no one gets hurt in any kind of way. Well, unless someone absolutely asks for it then....BAM you're done for the night. ;) Nuttin you can do there, eh? Weakest link taken out and the party goes on. Any ways, in between entertainers changing over, you'll watch them do their best to help set up the next entertainer to make sure the flow of the party goes on. With out them, it'd take a lot longer and have more "down time". While Redawg and I are playing the security crew passes out Jagermeister swag to people so we can go on with shows without happening to stop too much. For furture referrence, we're working on folks bringing back your "That's No BS VIP lanyard" everytime you walk in to get some specials out of it for being a VIP customer. Your business means that much to us.

Today was an over the edge crew that just wanted to forget about life for a while and hook up with beautiful womwen. Between playing 80's metal and fun stuff, they had an awesome time. Justin and his crew were showing them the love on stage and I better see a strike on your shirt the next time I see you bro. Instead of playing 3 hours, we played a full 4 hour gig and everyone had a great time. Birthday girls got tequlia and a lot of Jager swag was passed out. This crowd in general was loving Jagermeister!!! I'll catch you all on Sunday (7:00-10:30). Call your friends and tell them we're going to kick it up more. Sings "War Chant" If any of you want to talk a "That's BULLS#&t" T-shirt with you, please see me sometime through out the show. Because you're students, I'd rather have you buy a shirt and also be able to get a beer out of it. Thanks again for a great afternoon.

Florida State kicked it up a few notches yesterday and it was non-stop fun. The bikini contest was out of this world. FSU kickin it up "war chant style" and having a great time, but keeping everything clean during the day. These women, love & respect your bodies. Be bad all you want, but rememeber the town still has children there observing, so look out before what you do. After that time, let it loose and party it up!!!!! Taxi cabs run constant to make sure there are no DUI's. If anyone has pictures you'd like put on the website, email me. I'd love to post them here. I will also put thost taken pictures in the theme of your school and look at it is your Key West Get Away!!!!! Contact me for more information.

Spring Break is here and thus far Virgina Tech has been the life of the party. What a great crew with very hot ladies that love to have a great time. For anyone that is only vacationing, you gotta stop in during tomorrow's show (Tuesday 6:30-10:30). Had some wild stuff happening with a great vibe in the room. Tonight, we stayed open an extra half hour because everyone was having a great time. Keep up the party spirit and let's keep doing it every day you're here!!! For the young lady that took my shot of Jager, it looks like the next time I see you, you're buyin! I also have to hook you up with some swag for showing your love toward Jagermeister!! That past two nights have been over the top. Just remember to take a cab if ya need it. Cheers.

Philadelphia IN DA HOUSE!!! Today we celebrated a man that just came out of a coma fighting cancer and his wife called his boss while he was at Irish Kevin's today. The gentleman was so pumped, he bought a round for the entire bar to celebrate. Even though it was Fat Tuesday, it had no meaning today. If every boss was like this man, the world would be a better place. With that said, anyone that reads this, I'd like you to take a moment to pray for a quick recovery.

My last show in PA prior to moving to Key West was at a bar called "The Bar" in Altoona. I wish Kelly could've been with the rest of the crew that stopped by. Something I'll never forget from "The Bar" gigs was the bunch that came in frequently to party and see me play. Wild, crazy, fun and the CHILLY WILLY!!! For those that don't know what it is...imagine snorting a shot of Jagermeister instead of drinking it. It's always a pleasure to see my friends Freda & Dave stop by. Dave is an EMT and Freda works at La Pensione Inn. Anyone looking for a great place to stay in Key West, call and ask for her. Today a young gentleman named Shawn came up and sang a few songs with me. It's great to see great talent. To boot, he was 16 years old. Great job bro.

First off, I hope everyone had a great Valentine's Day. This week has been crazy. I had two Irish comedians come up and sing some "honest to goodness" Irish songs. Great times and you guys are more than welcome to come up any time. Today was an intersting day because I had a guy come in and his friends claimed he was the punter for the New England Patriots. You be the judge.

After getting home to compare the pictures, I believe his name to be Todd Sauerbrun (18). The next time you stop in, I'll buy you a round of Jagermeister. Good luck with the Patriots!!

I wanted to give a special thanks out to Steve from New Jersey for actually buying a round of Jagermeister for the ENTIRE bar.

Looks like I have to learn the words to Sympathy by the Stones and put it in my set list. If it wasn't for my boy Justin taking the pics, I wouldn't have been able to send them to my Jager reps. Around Christmas last year, I had a young lady come up on stage to sing a few songs and literally blew everyone away that was in the bar. It was great to see her parents again today. Anyways, CHECK out her site @ www.marjorylee.com.

Just giving a shout out to anyone that came into Kevin's over this past week and didn't catch my show. The first 3 days were to recover from a flu that's been going around. I played Friday morning not thinking about the couch syrup I was on and literally hurt my vocal chords and needed some time off to rest and get back up to par. I'll be playing the 11:00am - 3:00 shift tomorrow and should be back into full force. Note to myself - - - Allow the cough medicine to wear off prior to playing a show. With plenty of time to think, expect to see some cool additions to the show over the next few weeks that I feel we're going to have some great fun with. If anyone's interested in a "That...Bullsh!t" T-shirt, please see me at the bar or email me through my contact page. Stop in, grab some Jagermeister, and let's make the best of your hard earned vacation in the Keys!!

What an incredible night!!! The Jagerette's and Burt from Southern Wine & Spirits were a blast to hang out with. I met up with them during the crawl at Irish Kevin's and we worked our way from there to the Rum Barrel. The Crew was playing a great set and Stoner sat in on saxophone. At 10:00, we did a toast to the legend, Sidney Frank, and partied hard with the US Coastguard. Those guys sure know how to hold their own when it comes to drinking Jager. Here is the name tag we used to make sure everyone was drinking responsibly:

ONE FOR SIDNEY!!!!

Happy Birthday Dominic. Any birthday in Key West usually has about a week of recovery to go with it. A great friend and fellow sponsored Jager band Joe "Bubba" Bachman from The Crew is putting together a "Crawl on Duval" tomorrow that will start at Fat Tuesday's and end up at The Rum Barrel. There will be a 10:00pm Jagermeister toast in honor of the late Sidney Frank who passed away on January 10th, 2006. Instead of mourning, we are going to have a moment of silence and hold our glasses high to the man that brought the shot we all love to the US.

It's amazing to see how many people come back to Key West year after year. Happy 15th anniversary Mark & Cindy. I also wanted to give a great thanks to both Marines and Navy for making this afternoon so eventful. To my boy that drove away all the ladies, keep on tryin brother!! Eventually, either your tactics will work or you're going to end up getting kicked in the Ka-nuts.
